SHARMILA DAS (SHE/HER)
Sharmila Das is a psychotherapist with close to six years of experience supporting individuals on their mental health journeys. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Jesus and Mary College (Delhi University) and a Master’s in Psychology from Ambedkar University, Delhi.
Sharmila works with a diverse population of young and older adults, helping them navigate concerns related to stress, anxiety, interpersonal dynamics, self-worth, boundary setting, emotional regulation and trauma.
With a strong belief that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution, her approach to therapy is flexible and tailored to each individual, drawing primarily from psychodynamic and client-centred frameworks, while also incorporating tools from other modalities where appropriate. She is committed to working through a trauma-informed lens, holding space for her clients with sensitivity, safety, and respect for their lived experiences.
At the core of her practice is a deep investment in reflective work. Sharmila aims to create a therapeutic environment where clients are gently encouraged to look inward, question familiar patterns, and rewrite their narratives with greater self-awareness and agency. For her, therapy is a space where insight and empowerment emerge not from fixing, but from understanding and re-owning what has long been held in silence.
